Unique reference for a registered title at HM Land Registry.
Definition
In England and Wales each registered estate has a title number, shown on its title register and title plan. A development site can span several titles, and a title plan normally shows general boundaries rather than the exact legal line, so each parcel's boundary should be checked against survey evidence. Ireland uses folio numbers; the US uses assessor's parcel numbers (APNs).
